1/4 cup soft unsalted butter
2-3 tablespoons chopped herbs, or cheese, or anchovy, or cooked baby shrimp, or smoked salmon, or horseradish, or olives, or chili sauce, or chutney or jam or jelly or fresh diced strawberries or blueberries...
Beat soft butter until fluffy and then add desired ingredients. Use for bread, biscuits, muffins or crackers.
