Raisin SauceFrom Dorothy McNett's Recipe book at www.dorothymcnett.com. Use candied orange and lemon peel for a dynamite dessert souffle sauce. (Try the Italian minced dried fruit mix...it is fabulous!!!) 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed In heavy bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, salt, spices, and cornstarch. Gently whisk in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce to simmer and cook and stir until thickened. Serve about 1-2 tablespoons of this with fruitcakes or plum puddings.
