A basic recipe so that you can cook up these nutritious goodies for use anytime in any recipe, such as in a salad, in a soup, in a dip or just to eat with some fresh tomatoes and garlic and olive oil. This will yield about 2 3/4 cups of cooked lentils. To your health! 1 cup dried lentils Wash the lentils in a colander or sieve and then place in saucepan, adding the 4 cups water.
