Beer Spread

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at www.dorothymcnett.com. No Midwestern fish fry would be without a cheese mixture lavishly spread over rye bread slices.

2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1-2 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 to 3/4 cup beer
rye bread slices

In food processor with steel chopping blade in place, combine the cheeses, Worcestershire, garlic, mustard and enough beer to make a spreading consistency. Spread over rye bread and serve!
