Apple Salsa

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at www.dorothymcnett.com. Serve with spinach chips!

1 cup roasted hazelnuts (try the smokey ones!)
2 cloves garlic
2 medium apples, diced
1 small jalapeno or other medium hot chile
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
zest and juice of one lime
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar crystals
snipped fresh cilantro

chips for dipping

In food processor with steel chopping blade in place, first chop nuts and garlic coarsely. Add remaining ingredients, pulsing to chop but not to puree. Dump into a beautiful bowl and serve!
