Marinate meat strips in mixture of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch for at least 1 hour. Then heat wok or stir-fry pan, adding the 2 tablespoons oil. When hot, add the marinated strips and cook and stir 2-3 minutes, or until meat is done. Remove meat to platter. If necessary, add a little more oil to the wok and then add the vegetables, cooking and stirring for several minutes. In meantime, whisk together the broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce cornstarch, hot sauce or Zip, and pepper. Add to vegetables and cook and stir until sauce thickens slightly and takes on a clear sheen. Add the cooked meat, the bean sprouts, and the snipped herbs. Serve! Recipe created 1995-01-01. © 1996-2008 Dorothy McNett.
