Apple Crisp

1 cup granola
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4-6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into 1/4 inch slices
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and butter a deep 2 quart baking dish. In mixing bowl, combine the granola, oats, walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon. Rub in the butter. Place the apple slices in baking dish and sprinkle with the lemon juice and the 1 tablespoon sugar. Cover completely with the cereal mixture and bake for 40-50 minutes.
