Pecan Cheese Ball

1/2 cup toasted pecans
1/2 teaspoon butter
2 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1/2 teaspoon butter
8 oz. cream cheese (neuchatel)
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (try the golden one)
2 teaspoons mixed dry herbs (Mediterranean Salad Seasoning)
Microwave pecans and butter 2-3 minutes on High. Set aside. Combine pepper, onion, and butter and microwave on High 1 minute. Add cream cheese and microwave on Half Power 1 minute. Blend well, adding Worcestershire and seasonings. Shape into ball and roll in pecans. Chill. Serve with crackers and apple wedges.
