Just Good Italian Pizza1 homemade or ready-made pizza crust Put the crust on a pizza peel which has been sprinkled liberally with the polenta or semolina. Heat oven to 500 degrees with the pizza stone in the oven. Place the tomatoes on the crust. If using Pomis, do not use too much of the liquid. Sprinkle with oil, add remaining ingredients. Slip pizza onto the hot pizza stone and bake about 15 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve. Recipe created 1994-09-21. © 1996-2008 Dorothy McNett.
