Her dad, Charles Wright, worked in a restaurant so he picked up a lot of his cooking skills as a chef there. Her parents would make them up one at a time to feed four hungry children. She states that they would be working in the kitchen for a long long time. She has shortened the version by putting everything in the blender and making them all at once and placing waxed paper inbetween each one and keeping them warm in the oven before serving. Kathy says, "Delicious". 1 cup sifted flour Sift flour with salt. Add the eggs and stir until mixed. Add the milk. Sift it all through a strainer and then add a scant 1/8 cup of the batter to a hot buttered frying pan, twirling to cover the pan.
